How does the process work?

1. Gather Utility Bills

Convita Inc. works with our clients to gather a utility bill for both electricity and natural gas. This is the first step in the process as it allows us to identify the on-site meters, accounts, load profiles, and the current costs.

2. Supplier RFP

Using the information on the utility bills, we will prepare a data gathering authorization so the suppliers can gather 1-2 years of historical usage data to accurately price the energy supply. This will allow us to receive competitive pricing bids from the suppliers of electricty and natural gas.

3. Review of Supply Options

Within about 10 business days, we receive competitive pricing from the suppliers. We will then provide a pricing matrix showing all of the supplier pricing rates as well as various term lengths (usually ranging from 6 months to 5 years). This is reviewed in detail with each client to ensure we are identifying the option best suited to their needs.

4. Optimize Energy Supply

Working with our clients we will identify the best solution for their energy needs. There is no obligation to choose any of the options and there is no cost to the client to get to this point. Only if there are options that make sense to pursue does the client then enter into an agreement.
